Since there was not enough discussion on moving EpicMafia forward and most of the posts were either trolled or by those dead set on being against most of the suggestions, I have been giving this a lot of thoughts and decided on some solutions that may be more acceptable. I also would like to suggest for all those not being involved in this discussion is to start being involved and inform other players to put in their opinions.

One of the suggestions that I presented was “Pay to Register” for beneficial reasons, but with no involvement on lucidrains’ part, my guess is that he want to keep it free from the start of registration. With this in mind, our next plan is to devise some incentives that will hopefully generate some funds for EpicMafia. This is pretty much hard to discuss when such topic quickly dies down and no one seems to be concerned about EpicMafia’s future. Just look at the many discussions attempted (topics created by others and I) only lasting for a day or two before annoying topics is being created by others (Ex: Alex Banned). Why spend hours and days discussing Alex’s situation when the future of EpicMafia is at stake?

Everyone wants to play for free. Of course, we all love to have freebies. EpicMafia can still provide free games and my suggestion for free games is unranked only. Do you want to play ranked games? Then pay up! Honestly, I believe by having members to pay to play in ranked games that it should curve cheating drastically. When people are paying to play ranked games, they can not really afford to cheat, because when they are caught, the consequences for such action are not good.

I am thinking of 3 paying-member groups; Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. However, we have one of the trophies being Gold, so to lessen the confusion, set it to be 2 paying-member groups; Platinum and Diamond. Can the majority agree to this?

Here is a scenario for new members… When new members join EpicMafia, they can only play unranked games. There will be no “10 Games Before You Can Play Ranked” restriction. Honestly, 10 games are not enough to suit them properly for ranked games. These players can play unlimited unranked games and the more they play, the more knowledgeable they become. When they feel comfortable knowing the basic mechanics and learn their own playing style, they can then decide to pay for a membership in order to play ranked games. I do not think new members will quickly jump into buying a membership to play ranked games, but if it does become a problem, then I suggest at least 25 unranked games to be played completely.

Platinum membership… I think this group should have complete features that we have now among with the capability of playing ranked games. Just how much should it cost; one time, monthly, or once a year? There should be a forum section for only Platinum members to view and post.

Diamond membership… This should include all of the features of a Platinum membership and more. We will need to discuss more on the incentives. There should be a forum section for only the Diamond members to view and post…and be able to view and post in the Platinum section. Just how much should it cost; one time, monthly, or once a year?

Does this platform work for the majority here? Opinions of the trolls will be ignored. And lucidrains is strongly advised to start his involvement. What I have typed this time is obviously a lot better than previously, because it is on a platform that EpicMafia will still be free.

Karmaloop and Germatron, if I was the owner of EpicMafia, I can turn it around so much better than lucidrains. Fact is…he stinks! Poor leadership. His time is done and he needs to sell EpicMafia immediately.
